Two Americans kidnapped in Haiti released

WASHINGTON.- An American nurse and her son were freed almost two weeks after they were kidnapped in Haiti, The NGO to which it belongs reported this Wednesday.

“We confirm the safe release of our team member and friend Alix Dorsainvil and her son who were kidnapped in Port-au-Prince,” the Christian organization said. El Roi Haiti in a statement on its website.

Dorsainvil, a nurse and wife of the organization’s director, was kidnapped with her son on July 27 at the El Roi Haiti facilities, near Port-au-Prince.
