In an interview with the Spanish magazine Esquire, Sergio Ramos (37 years old, 39 games and 3 goals in all competitions this season) spoke about his pleasure in having experienced two big cities while playing for Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain. Very happy with Paris, the central defender recognizes however that the Spanish capital has his preference.

“Paris is a city that has everything and whose people made me feel at home from the moment I arrived. On the other hand, Madrid is obviously Madrid and I love it for its atmosphere, its museums, its restaurants. .. But especially for people, family and friends of all these years. (…) In any case, these are two of the most important and beautiful cities in the world. When I arrived (Madrid), it was already a big city and now it’s even more east. What hasn’t changed is the atmosphere, this city so open and so special. And you can live it and breathe everywhere. I’m in love with Madrid.”

As a reminder, the former Madrid player is under contract with PSG until June and an extension is far from certain.
