Today, June 3, King Felipe VI and King Letizia presided over the parade commemorating Armed Forces Day that took place in Granada. It is a truly special occasion, as last year it resumed, but there was a break due to the pandemic, so they especially appreciate this day that is so important to them.
Let’s remember that, Last year, Queen Letizia was encouraged to join the sweet style by choosing a pastel blue dress with black polka dots. A complete success to vary this pink line that she has almost always worn on this day, which is why we say that she broke the line a bit, innovating with blue but respecting this sweet style.
An absolutely wonderful two piece
This year, however, she has worn quite a different style than anything she has worn before to this day. She has opted for a flared midi skirt quite high on the waist and with a rigid fabric with a flare whose abstract color print is totally in line with spring, even more so on a day like today when the rain has given us some respite.
The upper part has been very successful and with all the sense to combine it with the one below: It is a white blouse with cut and puffed sleeves with a crossed neckline. She is carrying a red bag that is associated with one of the shades of the skirt, the same reasoning that she used to choose those shoes.
So we find it absolutely on point, elegant, classic and very interesting at the same time. Once again, Queen Letizia gives us a huge dose of inspiration with her style.
