In general, the item is made with magnesium alloy and handle only 49 grams. In addition, its design has various triangular shapes, going beyond the “honeycomb” on the accessory’s exoskeleton. Barrie Ooi also comments on the choice of material for the mouse:

The Viper Mini Signature Edition represents the most ambitious design and engineering project we’ve ever undertaken. We wanted to go beyond the traditional honeycomb design, and that required a material with an excellent strength-to-weight ratio. After evaluating plastics, carbon fiber and even titanium, we chose magnesium alloy for its exceptional characteristics.

The production of the Viper Mini was done using injection molding, polishing and CNC machining techniques. Its exoskeleton has a surface manufactured to prevent corrosion, manufactured using passivation techniques, in addition to being painted and assembled.

Razer has not yet revealed the forecast for the launch of the gamer mouse for the Brazilian market or the suggested price for it.
