As preparations are underway for January’s Xbox Developer Direct, Bethesda and Arkane Austin are revving their engines ahead of this major media event by releasing the guide for cosplayers interested in playing the characters of Redfall.

- Layla Ellison – The telekinetic menace: Layla is a biomedical engineering student at Redfall Polytechnic and volunteered for a clinical study at the local technology company, Aevum, to earn some money to pay for her studies.
- Devinder ‘Dev’ Crousley – The cryptid hunter: Dev is a brilliant inventor who became famous on the internet for his bizarre experiments with the supernatural.
- Remi De La Rosa – The ingenious engineer: Remi is a member of the Marine Corps. The experience gained on battlefields led her to create Bribon, a robot designed to act as decoy, cover and attack tool.
- Jacob Boyer – The zombie eye sharpshooter: Jacob rose through the ranks of the military by joining an elite secret Special Forces unit, where he participated in a variety of reconnaissance and combat missions. After being discharged, Jacob joined the Bellwether private military company. Once on the island, Jacob lost contact with his team and met a mysterious character who gave him a new eye and a psychic raven.
