The answer might surprise many gamers, as the data on the most played titles in 2022 show a very clear picture for the gaming year that is about to end: 2022 was the year of Free To Play. In fact, the high-sounding names of Apex Legends, PUBG and more appear among the most played titles, but how did the Steam ranking happen?
The official website of the platform has divided and measured the most played titles this year as follows:

- Those who have reached and exceeded 130 thousand users
- Finally, we have videogame products that have reached 70,000 active users simultaneously
