The music ball in Gantschier attracted numerous masked people to celebrate in the Polysaal
There was a relaxed atmosphere when around 250 fools met in the Polysaal in Gantschier last Saturday evening to celebrate the fifth season together. The big raffle with over 200 prizes alone and the live band “Die Kreuzbichler” created a good atmosphere right at the beginning of the big carnival party. And the carnival enthusiasts had all put a lot of effort into their costumes. So that evening, Shrek and his Fiona came together as a group, alongside numerous clowns or black and white harlequins.

But the mystery department was also well represented, because in addition to vampires, devils and witches also cavorted at the music ball in Gantschier. Animal items were also very much in vogue, with fish such as chickens, donkeys and sheep all taking part. The performance by the traditional band Gantschier, which imitated a board meeting, also caused a lot of laughter. Numerous elaborately designed costumes were performed by the fools that evening and shown for the first time.

Classics such as clowns or hippies were represented as well as gardeners or ladybugs. There was something for every taste and every style. This also applied to the musical aspect of the evening, because “Die Kreuzbichler” knew how to play different styles of music and thus fully met the taste of the numerous revelers, who let the fifth season of the year live until the early hours of the morning.
