King Charles III made a fundamental mistake inviting Meghan and Prince Harry to the coronation, experts say. In addition, they do not suspect anything good in the silence of the Duchess of Sussex. Is their taciturnity strategic?

London – Despite Prince Harry’s (38) extremely indiscreet insights into the British royal family of his youth until his marriage to Meghan Markle (41) in his memoirs “Spare” (German “Reserve”) King Charles III (74), as reported by “Mail on Sunday”, both invited to his coronation in May. He is said to have asked the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby (67), to reach an agreement between his two quarreling sons Prince William (40) and Prince Harry so that the latter can attend the coronation.

Is Meghan Markle’s silence strategic?

Now, the Duchess of Sussex, usually snuggled up to her husband’s side, has not been seen in public since the publication of Harry’s book. Otherwise not embarrassed by a word, the mother of two is so silent that royal insiders suspect that she is positioning herself for the coronation. The Sussexes wanted to use the public appearance for their own purposes and harm the royal family, it is said dailymail.co.uk. It seems Meghan just can’t please the British press either. If she talks, she says nothing good, if she is silent, that also means disaster.

Meghan’s gentle concerns about Prince Harry’s over 400-page bestseller then filtered through: In a quote that appears to have come from people close to the ducal couple, a source said in the DailyTelegraph on Harry’s work: “‘Is that the way she would have done things? Might not. But she will always have his back and would never have interfered in furthering such a personal project. It was about his own life, his own journey and his own perspective.”

Charles III wants Meghan and Harry to attend the coronation

Harry and Meghan’s absence from the coronation is a bigger distraction than their presence, shared Mail on Sunday about the king’s motivation for inviting his second son to his coronation. That’s why he’s said to be willing to make concessions.

Prince William is said to fear the couple could overshadow the event. Therefore, according to insiders, he should try to keep Harry and Meghan away: “The family is divided and everything indicates that Harry is advised not to accept anything and to ‘play for time’ until the last minute, which makes negotiations with him very difficult doing,” an anonymous insider told the paper.

The two caused a stir with both the Netflix documentary “Harry & Meghan” and Harry’s biography. So far, neither King Charles, nor Prince William nor Princess Kate have publicly responded. But that could soon change: as part of the coronation coverage on May 6, the BBC is said to be planning a report on the king, in which his life and his plans for the nation as monarch will be discussed. As part of this, he is said to have been offered a television interview. Again Mirror reports, according to insiders, Charles should think about the offer.

Distributed to King Charles III. now carrot instead of stick?

Actually, Meghan should be thrilled that the ballast of silence has been taken off their shoulders and they were able to present their point of view. Instead: Not a word from Montecito. That’s why royal family insiders fear there may be a nefarious motive behind Meghan’s rare taciturnity. Because she showed restraint on “Spare,” she could put herself in a position of power in forthcoming negotiations between Harry and his father.

Editor Glen Owen suspects in “Mail on Sunday” that Harry gave her the key to this, when Harry placed in various TV interviews that he expected an apology from his family to his wife. Now, as a peacemaker, she can placate Harry so he doesn’t misbehave at the coronation, as Prince William is worried about. According to the Mail on Sunday, concessions include a place of honor in the church and permission to continue Harry’s titles, which a bill could overturn.
