After Easter we continue with four Berlin district newsletters: Lichtenberg and Treptow-Köpenick appear this time on Tuesdays because of the holidays, Marzahn-Hellersdorf and Tempelhof-Schöneberg on Tuesdays as always. Our Spandau newsletter is once again on pause this week due to the holidays. You can order the Tagesspiegel newsletters from these Berlin districts, like all other district newsletters from the Tagesspiegel, here free of charge: tagesspiegel.de/districts

From LICHTENBERG Robert Klages writes about the following topics, among others:

  • Architect Arno Brandlhuber created the “San Gimignano Project” out of concrete towers on the rear site of the Dong Xuan Center on Herzbergstraße (formerly VEB Elektrokohle). It is named after the famous little town in Tuscany with its distinctive medieval towers. Artists are already at work in one of the two towers in Lichtenberg, creating models and large works of art. There is enough space in the yard. Some of the upper floors were also rented out as workspaces. The narrower tower is still unused, but will soon be renovated. More on this in the newsletter, other topics this time include:
