Most people know Heino as a legendary hit star. Before his singing career, however, the 84-year-old completed vocational training, which now gives him a good pension.

Kitzbühel – Heinz Georg Kramm (84) is known to most people under the name Heino. The pop singer was particularly successful in the 1960s and 1970s, including with the songs “Schwarzbraun ist die Hazelnut” (1967) and “Blue blooms the gentian” (1972). However, he also completed proper professional training.

From the baker to the hit star: Heino has been “retired for nine years”

In recent years he has given two different farewell tours, and he has also received his statutory pension “for nine years”, as he says TZ.de informed. Heino completed vocational training in Düsseldorf in the 1950s and then worked as a baker and confectioner. This will benefit him now: he will receive a pension of 1,635 euros per month.

It’s not possible just from singing: “Many of my artist colleagues can’t fall back on such a pension,” says Heino, “Fortunately I can, sometimes I live from it.” With Schlager colleague and “King of Mallorca” Jürgen Drews sees it differently from, he comes “just once to 200 euros a month”.
