While Endless Dungeon was originally scheduled for release in May, SEGA announced a five-month postponement of the game on all platforms.

See you in October

The joys of developing a video game also sometimes require postponing a release so as not to suffer the wrath of the community when faced with a game that is not completely finished. This is why SEGA has announced the postponement of Endless Dungeon to October 19.

Often developers explain that they need more time to polish their game, but Amplitude clarifies this time that the studio will work on improvements including balancing, meta-progression, tutorial and general polish in order to “create the perfect rogue-lite experience for players”.

“We are grateful and honored to see players looking forward to playing ENDLESS DUNGEON. The feedback we’ve received from our OpenDev sessions so far has proven to us that we really have something special on our hands and we want to make sure the game reaches its full potential.

Players have always been at the heart of our studio philosophy and the release of ENDLESS DUNGEON in October will give us the extra time to continue working with the community and fine-tuning the game for the best possible experience from day one.

We can’t wait for fans of the universe and new players to experience ENDLESS DUNGEON’s unique gameplay, a combination of rogue-lite, tactical action and tower defense.”

Romain de Waubert, Managing Director of Amplitude Studios

Endless Dungeon will be released on October 19, 2023 on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
