The police across the country have had to deal with accidents and incidents related to fireworks on New Year’s Eve on the night of Sunday.

Security guards at Ellingsrud subway station in Oslo have reported fireworks that have been fired at them inside the station area.

No injuries have been reported, the Oslo police say.

Sporveien states that the station is closed for the safety of customers and our staff, and that it will remain closed throughout the night.

– Ellingsrudåsen and Furuset stations remain closed tonight, but will be opened until the first departure in the morning. This is for the sake of our customers and employees, writes Sporveien on Twitter.

All trains on line 2, what used to be called Furusetbanen, turn at Lindeberg until further notice.

Later in the night, there were several reports of the unreasonable use of fireworks in several places in Oslo.

– The police have been working in the Haugerud area for a while now. There has been unreasonable use of fireworks when firing at people and buildings. Fires have also been fired at the police and at vehicles, the police write on Twitter.

No injuries have been reported.

Hit the bus

According to the police, they have had to deal with incidents related to fireworks throughout Saturday.

At 11pm on Saturday evening, the police received a report that someone had shot fireworks through a window at a private address in Kristiansand.

Fire in car

A car in Kristiansand caught fire around midnight.

The police state that they suspect that the fire was set, and that it may be linked to fireworks.

The fire was extinguished with a fire extinguisher after a short time.
