Los Angeles police launched a police pursuit in the Wilmington area following reports of a stolen car.
The persecution was reported shortly after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
The stolen vehicle was described as a blue 2004 Chevrolet pickup.
The driver got out of the vehicle in a residential area and started running through houses.
The suspect, who has gone into hiding in the backyard of a home, is still being sought by authorities.
