At least one police officer and one Metrovías employee were injured after a shooting at the Retiro station on Subway Line C, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. As reported by the head of SAME, Alberto Crescenti by C5N, the cash received two shots and was transferred by helicopter to the Churruca Hospital, while the Metrovías employee was taken to the Fernández Hospital for a minor gunshot wound. The attacker was arrested by the City police.
The woman was shot in the chest, a bullet grazed her neck, and suffered a cardiac arrest, which was reversed. The uniformed woman, identified as Analía Salazar, who serves in the Line C Subway Division, is hospitalized, with a reserved prognosis. The assailant was arrested. The Metreovías employee received a gunshot wound to the hip and is out of danger.
Crescenti added that “we are working on this issue and there is also a police helicopter that is going to come down. Try to get her out of the place, we’re still in the place. This is what I can tell you so far, because we are in full swing”.
