After intense intelligence work and after nine raids that have been carried out since last Wednesday, they arrested five men and a woman who would be involved in the theft of various construction elements of a warehouse located on López y Planes avenue, almost Monsignor Andrea de Posadas.

According to police sources, these people were wanted for committing multiple crimes in the capital of Misiones, from robberies with mechera and escruche modalities, among others. In this way, the investigating agents of the Regional Unit I, after becoming aware of the event that took place last Monday, devoted themselves to intelligence tasks, identifying the criminals.

For this reason, with the order of the Investigating Judge One of Posadas, last Wednesday at farm 128 and on Leandro N. Alem avenue, four houses that functioned as holdings for stolen items were broken into, where they captured two of those involved and recovered the stolen objects.

Continuing with the investigation, the troops obtained precise data that indicated the other accomplices in the robbery and where they would hide. For this reason, this afternoon they raided another five houses located in the San Gerardo and Laurel neighborhoods, where they arrested three men and one woman.

It is worth mentioning that the 33-year-old involved was wanted for committing a robbery on March 17 at a place located on Belgrano street with the wicker modality, she also has several similar criminal records. Also, one of the criminals identified as Gustavo P., 35, had a valid arrest warrant for the robbery of a house carried out on March 1 in farm 128.

Finally, the detainees were housed in different police units at the disposal of Justice. As for the investigation, it continues in order to clarify all the illegal acts in which they are involved.
