In fact, until about 8 in the morning, people continued to tweet and share photos and videos of the crowds —especially at the Pantitlán stationwhere people reported that it took up to an hour to get on the platform area.
Faced with the crowds in Pantitlán on Line 9, the Metro CDMX responded with this message:
“There is a high influx on Line 9. The shipment of empty trains to stations with the highest demand is coordinated. It allows the free closing of doors”.
And with a cutoff at 8:31 in the morning, the CDMX Metro indicated that there are 5 minutes of waiting for the advance of the trains on Line 9 —which runs from Pantitlán to Observatory.
