For a mobilization towards Ministry of Economythe center of Buenos Aires was once again the scene of protests and traffic was affected in the vicinity of the May Plaza.

There, social organizations mobilized to demand an “emergency salary increase” and the suspension of the agreement with the International Monetary Fund (IMF). The march was called for 11 o’clock and took place within the framework of a national day of struggle.

According to THATamong the claims that led to the Ministry of Economy there are “emergency increases for formal workers and the popular economy; urgent measures to curb inflation; suspend the agreement with the IMF; urgent reopening of the Potenciar Trabajo program; food delivery in time, form and quantity necessary”.

In turn, representatives of the organizations that carried out the march stated: “We are going to go to the Ministry of Economy to say ‘enough with the adjustment’, because it is disguised in different ways and it is said in different words, but they do not want to acknowledge that due to the agreement with the IMF the adjustment is increasing”.
