Juarez City.- The Municipal Public Security Secretariat, through the Social Prevention Directorate, continues to work permanently with citizens at the Municipal Center for Attention and Work with Men and Masculinities (CEMATH).

Antonio Salas Martínez, director of Social Prevention of the SSPM, reported that there is the participation of 60 beneficiaries in the CEMATH located in the Senderos de San Isidro neighborhood, where they are provided with the tools to manage and eradicate the factors that lead them to to generate violence.

Likewise, he commented that the care processes are carried out in groups and individually, so each case is treated in a specific way, with expert psychologists in each situation, in addition to legal advice.

He also reported that people who attend therapy are channeled through a court, UNEVID and/or companies, but there are also those who come of their own free will, since they want a change in their lives.

In addition, he said that a group of five adolescents has just been formed who were channeled to said center when certain practices that require psychological help were detected within the “Integrity sexual education”.

While in the CEMATH located in the Centennial Gymnasium in the 16 de Septiembre neighborhood, 16 adolescents and children attend, who participate permanently with the team of specialists; Within these actions, we work with 15 more participants in the community dining room next to the gym.

Salas Martínez, informed that the opening hours are Tuesdays from 10 am to 12 pm; Thursday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.; Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
