The Rosario plant is one of the succulents that is easiest to reproduce by cuttings, since practically any of its stems can be made and you will be able to see a new plant grow.

To get a cutting of the Rosario plant and reproduce it, you just have to follow these simple steps:

Materials

  • Rosary plant stems
  • Small container with a minimum height of 6 cm, with several holes.
  • Substrate for succulents.

How to do it?

  1. Cut about 5 cm from any stem of your Rosario plant
  2. Then, remove two or three leaves or balls from each of them.

  3. Choose a container that is at least 3 cm deep and place a substrate that contains at least cactus soil, worm humus and perlite.
  4. Bury the part of the stem without balls in the substrate

  5. Water very little around the stem (make sure the water doesn’t get all the way down.
  6. Place the pot in a bright place and wait for the soil to dry before watering again. Do it only three times a week with very little water.

  7. When a couple of weeks have passed, you will notice that the roots are growing on the stems, so it will be a good time for you to take them to the pot where they will live.
