The Star Wars franchise will continue to expand in 2023.
the universe Star Wars not in top form. But the year 2022 will have signed one of the best works of the saga: Andor. This prequel to RogueOne was also quite simply a powerful political science fiction series. What to have hope for the future of the franchise? Movies Star Wars are missing
Don’t expect to return to theaters anytime soon to see Star Wars : no film is scheduled for the year 2023.
Video game : Star Wars Jedi Survivor (March)
Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order had been an excellent surprise, in 2019. Located five years after Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Siththe video game allowed us to embody a new (hyper endearing) hero in the franchise: Cal Kestis, played by the brilliant Cameron Monaghan.
In 2023, it is therefore with impatience that we await the sequel, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. We will find the same hero, five years after the events of the first game. Exclusively available on consoles next-gen (PlayStation 5, Xbox Series) and on PC, a visual slap is coming, in addition to gameplay improvements.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on March 17, 2023.

The program is rich on the series side. They will all be available on Disney+.
The Bad Batch season 2 (january)
Season 2 of the animated series The Bad Batch, based on short episodes of about twenty minutes, will be available on Disney+ on January 4, 2023. It will be the direct continuation of the adventures of this squadron of genetically modified clones. On the program, a… wookie jedi, if we are to believe the trailer.
The Mandalorian season 3 (march)
Baby Yoda — sorry, Grogu — will be back on Disney+ on March 1, 2023 alongside Din Djarin, for season 3 of The Mandalorian. The characters will be on the planet Mandalore facing major political conflicts. With Andor, The Mandalorian is quite a fan-favorite Star Wars series, so it’s going to be a big deal this year — and it’s also coming out in the same month as the game.
Visionsvolume 2 (early 2023)
In this anthology series, the direction and writing of the episodes were entrusted to Japanese animation studios. A volume 2 in this format called Star Wars Visions is scheduled for the beginning of the year.
Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures (summer)
With Young Jedi Adventures, Lucasfilms will deliver an animated work dedicated entirely to children. The series will take place during the High Republic, long before the Skywalker family saga, and will follow the adventures of young Padawans still in formation.
Star Wars: Ahsoka (during 2023)
Here is a new series of the franchise that we are eagerly awaiting: star wars ahsoka is scheduled for 2023, with no date or specific window announced (but we should expect a broadcast in the summer, or even at the start of the school year). The character has appeared in numerous works Star Wars (animated and live action more recently), but this is the first time it will be explored to such an extent — and holes in the timeline of its own history can finally be filled. It is Rosario Dawson who embodies the heroine in this series. And Hayden Christensen should be there.
Skeleton Crew (during 2023)
Not much is known about the live-action series Skeleton Crew, except that Jude Law will be in it. The release was announced “during 2023″ during the Star Wars Celebration 2022. It will be the story of four children (” but it’s not a children’s series according to Jon Watts, the creator) who seek to return home, lost in the galaxy.
