Susan, how do you feel hosting a show?
Happy. I took this challenge with great responsibility and affection, it is a dream that I am fulfilling, I always said in a low voice that I hope I have the opportunity to host a program. My perseverance and tenacity have helped me a lot to show that I can achieve my goals in life.
So, you’re like a fish in water…
Exactly, this program touches my inner fibers because they are brave Peruvians looking to make their dreams come true. The truth is that I get emotional with each case and sometimes I even cry (sighs). I thank God and the ATV family for giving me this opportunity.

How was the chemistry with your partner (Ismael La Rosa)?
I hesitate a lot, but always with respect and affection. He is a great guy and every day I learn from him.
You are from Chiclayo, surely you miss your land.
My family lives there, I was the only one who stayed in Lima. Because of work and singing contests, I stayed here to fight. I was scared at first, but then I said, if I don’t try I won’t know what happens. I have felt alone many times, I had no one to tell my things to.
What would you say to your self from years ago?
That all our effort was worth it, that our tears were not in vain and that now we are achieving what we longed for.
Do they bully you because of your height?
Until now they bully me, but I have a wide strap and my head is held high. Some malicious people try to put me down by telling me that I don’t have a presence, I don’t pay attention to them. I am small and powerful to much honor. I advance with my effort, tenacity and good heart.
Milena Warthon will represent us in Viña del Mar this year. What advice would you give her?
I spoke to her a few days ago and I told her: Peru is going to win ha ha ha. The truth is that it is not easy to stand on that stage because she scares and makes you nervous, but I know that milena it will do well. She just has to be sure of herself and live that moment intensely. Wish you all the best.

You are living a honeymoon with your partner (Edgar Ferrer)…
Ha ha ha. At the moment we will not get married. Now we are trying to fall in love again, to recover the relationship. Work and children made us forget about ourselves, everything became routine and the little details disappeared. Right now we are trying to save our home.
Would you like to venture into acting?
How do you know what my dreams are? Ha ha ha. I would love to be an actress, I’m going to take acting classes to see if Michelle Alexander sees me and summons me for her productions (laughs).
What are your next projects?
I am composing a love song, it will be out soon.
What advice would you give women?
We have to overcome our fears, be brave and not let ourselves be minimized by anyone. We are strong, intelligent and hardworking women.

Yes, I will be at the Teatro Plaza Norte de Independencia. It will be a great concert prior to the Day of Love and Friendship. Sebastián Landa (José Feliciano from Yo Soy) will accompany me. I wait for you!
