Bristol, Connecticut police and a SWAT team are conducting an investigation after a man barricaded himself inside his home Friday night.
Officers responded to the area of Woodbine and Gridley streets. A SWAT team could be seen in the area.
The police department said police were trying to serve an arrest warrant when the man barricaded himself inside his home. The situation continues.
Approximately 40 Eversource customers are without power in the area.
The Central Region Emergency Response Team is on the scene investigating and working to find a solution.
