The selections of Paraguay and Brazil achieved their pass to the final hexagonal of the South American Sub 20 with two days left for the end of Group A.
Paraguay rested on the fourth date with the qualification assured to the next round by getting two wins against Peru (1-0) and Argentina (2-1) and the draw in the debut with the host, Colombia.
Colombia drew 1-1 against Brazil and remains with chances of qualifying for the second phase on the last date of the series. The ‘Canarinha’ climbed to first place in the group with seven, thanks, in addition, to the wins against the ‘red and white‘ and the ‘albiceleste‘.
Colombia and Argentina fight for the third place in search of the pass to the final hexagonal on the fifth date of Group A. The ‘coffee growers‘ with five points will be measured against the ‘albiceleste‘, who beat Peru with a goal from Gino Infantino (41 ‘) and added his first win of the tournament.
The winner of the match between Colombia and Argentina will qualify for the final hexagonal of the tournament. However, with the tie the ‘coffee growers‘ continue in the race and the ‘albiceleste‘ would be eliminated from the South American sub 20.

After disputing three Group B dates, four of the five teams in the series maintain their chances to get their pass to the final hexagonal.
Uruguay (1st), Ecuador (2nd), Chile (3rd) and Bolivia (4th) are the teams that are fighting for three places to access the next round. A victory for each team in one of the two days remaining in the tournament would allow them to ensure their classification.
On the third day, Uruguay defeated Venezuela with a double by Luciano Rodríguez (24′ and 65′) and another goal by Fabricio Díaz, adding six points and coming close to the hexagonal, in addition, practically leaving his rival on duty out of the race.
Chile defeated Bolivia with a goal from Lucas Assadi, regained ground in the table and entered the fight for qualification. The ‘red‘ achieved his first win of the tournament.
Ecuador rested this day and the combination of results left it in the hexagonal classification area. The ‘Tri’ will have to face Venezuela and Paraguay in the last two dates.

Six teams will enter the final hexagonal for the title of the South American Sub 20 Colombia 2023. The first three from Group A and Group A.
In the final stage they will face everyone against everyone in five dates. The first place in the hexagonal will be champion of the South American sub 20.
The first four will qualify for the Indonesia 2023 World Cup in the category and the best three will access the Pan American Games in Santiago.
However, if Chile occupies one of the first three places, it will give up its place to the next best-placed team (fourth place) because the ‘red’ already has a place for the Pan American Games for hosting the sports event.
