A 17-year-old is accused of killing a man in his Norco home, then robbing and fleeing in the victim’s truck.
Jaziel Valdez, who also uses the alias Ivan Camacho, is believed to have killed Gabriel Diaz, 40, Saturday night at Diaz’s home in the 300 block of Sixth Street, the County Sheriff’s Department said. Riverside.
Officers with the department arrived at about 7:04 p.m., and found Diaz next door to the residence with “traumatic injuries.” The victim died at the scene.
After killing Diaz, Valdez stole a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck from the home, according to the sheriff’s department. The vehicle had the number 6E80093.
