The governments of ten provinces have already confirmed the schedule for the next provincial elections and made official the unfolding of the national elections.

The governor of Río Negro, Arabela Carreras, signed this Friday the decree that calls for provincial elections for next April 16. In this province, citizens will be able to elect a governor, lieutenant governor, provincial legislators and development commissioners.

The government of Neuquén, headed by Omar Gutiérrez, for its part, reported that the provincial elections will also take place that day, next April 16, the date on which the citizens will elect governor, vice president, legislators and municipal authorities of some localities under the Single Electronic Ticket modality.

Misiones, meanwhile, made official the call for provincial elections for May 7, 2023, when the next governor will be elected, who will succeed Oscar Herrera Ahuad, and lieutenant governor, and half of the provincial deputies, councilors and municipalities will also be renewed. in all locations.

The governor of San Juan, Sergio Uñac, announced that the date of the provincial elections will be Sunday May 14 to elect governor and vice president, 19 departmental deputies and 17 deputies by proportional representation.

In Jujuy, on May 7, the citizens will elect the new governor, as well as mayors and half of the legislative bodies of all its jurisdictions.

The elections in that province will be simultaneous with the election of conventional constituents who are in charge of discussing the partial reform of the local Constitution promoted by the Jujuy Executive.

The governor of Salta, Gustavo Sáenz, called elections to define provincial and municipal positions for May 14, 2023, through the single electronic ballot system.

Meanwhile, the governor of Tucumán, Osvaldo Jaldo, officially announced that the province’s elections will take place on Sunday, May 14, for all positions.

The Electoral Tribunal of La Pampa, for its part, made official the dates of the open, mandatory and simultaneous internal elections on February 12 and the general ones on May 14.

Chaco Governor Jorge Capitanich announced that the province will hold elections for executive and legislative positions on September 17 this year.

While in Santa Fe, the general elections of the province will be held between August 27 and September 10 and the citizens will elect the governor who will succeed Omar Perotti.
