A large fire broke out this Thursday in a shed located at 532 between 121 and 122. According to police sources informed 0221.com.arthe event generated great commotion in the area due to the thick black smoke coming out of the tank.
Alerted to the situation, agents from the La Plata Fire Department went to the scene. Once there, They verified the fire of two vehicles that were inside a warehouse and they began to deploy the corresponding tasks to control the focus.
However, and as a consequence of the magnitude of the accident, they requested the collaboration of the Gonnet Fire Department.
The specialists continued with the extinction tasks for several minutes and managed to control the igneous source.
Fortunately, there were no fatalities and only material losses were to be regretted. At the moment, how the fire broke out in the shots is being investigated.
