Are robots stupid or save the world? Successful in space and overwhelmed on earth? Robotics professor Sami Haddadin will answer these exciting questions on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 6 p.m. in a 45-minute live chat session on the ZDF YouTube channel “Terra X plus”. professor dr Sami Haddadin is Executive Director of the Munich Institute of Robotics and Machine Intelligence (MIRMI) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and holds the Chair in Robotics and Systems Intelligence. His research interests include robotics, machine learning, nonlinear control and human motor intelligence. The robot Garmi, developed by Haddadin, is also in the studio. In an interview with Lena Paul from the YouTube channel “Terra X plus”, Sami Haddadin explains what Garmi can already do and where it is reaching its limits, in which areas robots are already being used and whether they will actually take over the world.
The YouTube chat group is aimed at schoolchildren from the age of ten and all those who are thirsty for knowledge. Before and during the chat round, users can ask Sami Haddadin questions.
