Linda Yaccarino took advantage of his first publication as CEO of Twitter to thank Elon Musk for the opportunity, admitting he was “very happy” to be able to “help transform” the social network.
“Thank you, Elon Musk. I have long been inspired by your vision to create a brighter future. I am happy to help bring this vision to Twitter and transform this business together”, ‘tweeted’ Linda Yaccarino, this Saturday, in response to the announcement made by Elon Musk about his hiring.
The official also noted that she gained new followers on the social network, highlighting that the ‘feedback’ of users is “vital” for the future of the company.
“I see I have some new followers. I’m not as prolific as Elon Musk (yet!), but I’m also committed to the future of this platform,” he joked. “Your feedback is VITAL for that future. I’m here for it all. Let’s keep the conversation going and build Twitter 2.0 together,” she concluded.

Linda Yaccarino is due to take over in six weeks and will focus on business operations, while Musk will dedicate himself to product design and new technologies, as explained by the owner of Twitter when confirming the hiring of the former advertising director of NBC Universal on Friday.
