New edition of the Saturday evening show with hostess Beatrice Egli / including Roland Kaiser, Peter Maffay, PUR, Bülent Ceylan, Johnny Logan and Mireille Mathieu
Beatrice Egli presents a new edition of her music and entertainment show. “The Beatrice Egli Show” will be given a one-time new slot: it will be exceptionally broadcast on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 8:15 p.m. on Erste and can be seen at the same time on Swiss television SRF 1. Guests include Roland Kaiser, Mireille Mathieu, Peter Maffay, Bülent Ceylan, PUR, Nik P., Ute Freudenberg, Johnny Logan and Gregor Hägele. There are also Luna Klee, Lucas Fischer, Marina Marx, Camille, the Canzonetta children’s choir, the shadow theater Amazing Shadows and the Stuttgart musical Tanz der Vampire. “The Beatrice Egli Show” can also be seen in the ARD media library after it was broadcast on the first.
Beatrice Egli: “Where my name is on it, my heart is in it”
“I’m looking forward to an unforgettable evening with great music, with very strong and emotional stories and also a few surprises, which of course I can’t reveal just yet,” says Beatrice Egli and is looking forward to her role as hostess: “It’s something very special Special and also an honor to roll out the carpet for the artists who are guests in my show, to welcome them and to create an unforgettable evening together. Where my name is on it, there my heart is in it. And that you will sense and feel.” And further: “I would be very happy if on April 15, 2023 a lot of people would spend Saturday evening at home and turn on the television.”
Music and entertainment are the focus
“The Beatrice Egli Show” is part of a show cooperation between SWR, MDR and SRF.
It has been around since April 2022. It can generally be seen on SWR Fernsehen, MDR Fernsehen and SRF. The broadcast on April 15, 2023 in the first is therefore a special feature. It is the third edition of the show. Multi-genre music and entertainment take center stage. Great artists are on stage as well as newcomers. One of the highlights this time, for example, is the appearance of Mireille Mathieu. The French singer can be seen on television for the first time in a long time and presents her greatest hits and evergreens with Beatrice Egli. The singer Gregor Hägele, who has his first TV appearance on the show, will also be seen.

“We’re looking forward to Beatrice Egli’s guest performance and her show on the first,” says Christian Kleinau, head of show and music at SWR: “It’s going to be an evening full of goose bumps.” And further: “The fact that the Beatrice Egli show is changing to the first for the spring edition this year is a nice sign of its success and of the great popularity of our presenter Beatrice Egli.”
