The blue dollar reached a new record. This Thursday, the parallel ticket closed in the $433 at the selling point, after touching the $440 during another day of high volatility for financial exchange rates.
In the city of Buenos Aires, the marginal currency reached $440, in a day of high political and financial tension, before the meeting in Olivos between President Alberto Fernández and the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa.

Meanwhile, the blue ended the day at $427 on the buying end and $433 on the sale. While in some provinces it ended at $440, and the gap with the wholesale exchange rate stretched to 98.5%.
Precisely, in Santa Cruz and Tierra del Fuego it was quoted at $440, and in Santa Fe, Salta, Córdoba and the province of Buenos Aires it reached $438. In the rest of the provinces it ranged between $436 and $433.
On the other hand, the Central Bank resumed purchases and added US$44 million of foreign currency, more than half of the settlements of agro-exporters who contributed US$72 million.
