Javier Aranda Pedrero, head of the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council (CPTQ), reported that just over 20% of the debt left by the agency since the last state administration has already been paid, due to financial commitments.

He added that recently the CPTQ has promoted destinations in the southern zone of the state of Quintana Roo, such as Chetumal, Bacalar and Mahahual, in cities such as Campeche, Mérida, Tuxtla Gutiérrez and Villahermosa, in the Southeast Caravan; or in the Bajío Caravan, held in Mexico City, Querétaro, León and Guadalajara.
