It’s been several months since we heard about the next The Crew. Almost five years after the release of The Crew 2, the Ivory Tower teams are preparing to unveil their new baby, which seems to be becoming clearer today.

The Crew Motorfest is getting closer!

As we know, the Ivory Tower studio is working on a new installment of The Crew franchise, codenamed Project Orlando. The name Motorfest has been around for a while now, and new datamined by @ScriptLeaksR6 seems to confirm the name.

It is in particular an image which is broadcast in a tweet available below, on which we can clearly see the mention The Crew Motorfest. It’s obviously pulled from an internal Insider program around the studio’s next racing game.

As a reminder, Project Orlando was initially planned as a DLC of The Crew 2, but would have become an episode in its own right given the scale taken by the project over time. In October 2022, we learned in particular that the title should take place in Hawaii, on the island of Oahu.

An announcement very soon

Among the other elements put forward, it is also indicated that the game should be developed under a new engine, without anyone knowing more.

Tom Henderson also evokes in the columns of
Insider Gaming
that the Insider program that he was able to consult, suggests that an announcement could take place shortly, perhaps even as early as next week.

Rumors around the next Ubisoft games fuse this weekend, since we learned a little earlier in the day that the publisher was working on Far Cry 7 as well as a multiplayer Far Cry.

As always, this information must be taken with a grain of salt until the official announcement.
