Diaby symbolizes Bayer Leverkusen’s upswing. After a disappointing first half of the season, coach Xabi Alonso managed to turn things around with his team and won the last five league games. Diaby trumped again against Eintracht Frankfurt and contributed a goal to the success of the Rhinelanders. The France international now has nine goals and seven assists. With his speed and powerful dribbling, Diaby kept putting pressure on the Adler’s defenders and posed constant threats.
