This is not the first time that a film has been illegally available on the blue bird social network. However, it is rare that it is not quickly removed. In effect, the film remained available for several hours before being removed. The user has apparently not been sanctioned heavily because his account is still active. He has not been suspended, at least for now.

Over 9 million Internet users have seen Super Mario Bros. the movie on Twitter

It’s also not the first time that Super Mario Bros. the film is shown outside of cinemas. In Argentina, a television channel aired Super Mario Bros. only a week after its theatrical release. In any case, neither Twitter nor Nintendo communicated on the Mario film available on the social network.

The tweets from user “@LKnevermisses” who originally aired the film were therefore deleted, but not before Super Mario Bros. not be viewed by more than 9 million internet users. A few hours later, the leaker tweeted: “ it was removed, sorry guys ».

Moreover, the Internet user was able to easily broadcast the film thanks to Twitter Blue. The subscription at 9.60 euros per month allows you to post tweets of 4,000 characters, but also 1080p videos 60 minutes long. Super Mario Bros. the film was therefore posted in two parts on Twitter. For those who haven’t seen it yet, Nintendo’s feature film is still available in theaters. It will then arrive later on the streaming platforms.
