“It is not just about recovering a theater room: we are giving impetus to our Provincial Center for the Arts, which will offer cultural and popular shows for all the people of the province of Buenos Aires,” said the Governor and added: “With first level programming, this will be an open space that will fill all Buenos Aires residents with pride”.

The reopening of the Sala Alberto Ginastera is a historic and emotional moment for the culture of La Plata and the entire province of Buenos Aires. Those who have not been able to attend its opening, will be able to go to a third function on Sunday 23 at 17, because the tickets for the second performance this Friday at 8:00 p.m. are already sold out. Tickets are free and can be reserved through the institution’s official website on Friday, April 21 from 6:00 p.m.

The reopening means for the province and the city the return of the artistic season, with a series of concerts, operas, ballets and an extensive program. It should be noted that, during the previous management, the works were announced but were never completed, leaving the largest room of the theater completely unusable. Now, with the renovation and reopening of the Ginastera Hall, a new stage of cultural development of La Plata is expected.
