Key allies in Congress
The First Commissions, those on constitutional and political affairs, the government would have two key allies, in the Senate Alexander López, who has just left the presidency of the Senate and is from the Historical Pact, while in the First Commission of the Chamber it would be the liberal, Óscar Sánchez.
The government is concerned about the presidencies of the economic commissions. The Third Senate would go to the conservative Efraín Cepeda, who has been one of the most critical of the government since last March when the party became independent.
In the Chamber, that commission would be chaired by a strong opponent, Carlos Cuenca of Cambio Radical. The Fourth Commissions are expected to remain Luis Felipe Lemus, senator of the U Party and who is equally critical since they are independent and in the Chamber Juan Loreto Gómez, of the Conservative Party.

Regarding the Second Commissions, it is expected that the liberal Lidio García and Cámara, Jorge Murcia, from Cambio Radical, will remain in the Senate.
