The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdomthe next and long-awaited video game of the successful franchise of the big N and that will be launched on May 12 of this year, will have amiibo figures as part of its merchandising, confirmed in the most recent Nintendo Direct of February 8.
As gamers well know, amiibo are interactive figures and cards that you can use with your games to get new features, new modes, weapons, character outfits, and more.
According to a report published on the website of level up, These Tears of the Kingdom amiibo will unlock content for the next Zelda installment.
The one presented in the Direct, with an apparently prosthetic arm, will unlock a design for Link’s paraglider or parasail themed with the blue outfit of the Champions, which matches the clothes the hero is wearing in the adventure. Additionally, by scanning the figure the player can receive materials or weapons.
It won’t be the only Tears of Kingdom amiibo figure
Also, the above will not be the only amiibo figure from The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. Three other figures will be marketed and will also unlock very interesting paracandles
The amiibo are from The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (Zelda), The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (Link) and The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask, the latter unlocks the best of all, with the design of the legendary skin.
A tweet from the official Zelda account in Japan reported exactly the following: “If you touch an amiibo with The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, you can get materials and weapons, as well as a special ‘parachute cloth’ depending on the character you touch. In a certain store, you can change the fabric of the parachute”.
In addition, the tweet adds several images of the different models of parasails that we can obtain in the video game.
