Four months late for The Marvels
The feature film The Marvels by Nia DaCosta (Candyman 2021) is still cursed because it was originally supposed to hit theaters on July 8, 2022 before suffering an avalanche of postponements. Four in all and for all, but it shouldn’t move now… The new date is set for November 10, 2023, four more months late.
The Marvel Studios Twitter account has started a promotional campaign with an official poster featuring Kamala Khan from the Disney+ series Miss Marvel bottom, Brie Larson aka Captain Marvel in the center, then Monica Rambeau (Wanda Vision) on top. A first poster on which also appears an evocative slogan ” Upper. Further away. Faster. Together “ which emphasizes the necessary cooperation between the three heroines to get rid of the new threat that awaits them.
A “crazy” scenario and a film compared to Avengers
In The Marvels, the trio of superheroines will indeed have to unite to save the (original) universe.

There’s something immensely powerful about seeing Monica, Kamala and Carol brought together in one frame. For me, it’s comparable to the first Avengers movie and seeing all six of them at once. It gives chills. They look great together, and they all have different stories with other characters..
