Like Lisbeth before, Linn persuades Hans: “Hans, don’t you think you can perhaps jump over your shadow so that Martin stays?” The unsurprising answer: “Not even you respect my point of view? Why do I always feel like I have to justify myself?”

When Linn assures him that she is very much on his side, Hans demands that the two of them stop talking about Martin. Linn isn’t that easily shaken off: “And when are you going to stop pretending that you don’t care about any of this?” His statement “I don’t care. I finally don’t care what my brother says, thinks or does” is probably the last straw for Linn. A little later she comes out of the house with her bags packed.

Hans is so surprised that he wrestles an apology: “Ok, well, I’m sorry about the way I talked to you before.” Linn doesn’t want to hear anything about it: “The way is probably the smaller problem. What you say is the problem. I love you Hans. And I understand your pain. Really. But the way you’re acting right now, there won’t be much left of my feelings soon.”

“Now let’s talk about it in peace,” said Hans. Linn reminds him, “And how often has your brother said these past few weeks? And every time you didn’t care. And I don’t care now either.” Linn embarks on a journey through Germany to her sisters. Her (for now) last words to her boyfriend: “And please don’t call me until you stop thinking that the world revolves around you, yes?”

So the back door to reconciliation remains open. And the agency of Linn actress Andrea Gerhard also assured us that no exit is planned.

“Der Bergdoktor”: The finale is on Thursday, February 23, at 8:15 p.m. on ZDF and is available already in the media library available.
