Genshin Impact is a wild success from the first day of its launch. Even today, the multiplayer game which was greatly inspired by The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild attracts a lot of people and always generates more money. It’s simple, since its launch in 2020, the title has simply exceeded 4 billion dollars in revenue, including 1.4 billion which was recorded between the first and third quarters of the year 2022. On the same period, the game had the right to more than 37.3 million downloads. In other words, it’s huge… But despite this resounding success, miHoYo, the studio behind the game, is already thinking ahead.
In addition to the brand new Genshin Impact update which will last until March 1st and which gives access to a brand new game area, but also to two additional characters, miHoYo is also working on another production… And the latter could arrive much faster than expected.
The Final Beta is unveiled
After Honkai Impact 3rd and Genshin Impact therefore, the Chinese studio offers us a certain Honkai: Star Rail. The latter is an RPG that takes a lot of Genshin Impact, starting with its very successful artistic direction, but which also changes the rules of what we are used to today. Yes, with this new proposal which is fast approaching its release, the real-time combats of Genshin Impact will disappear in favor of turn-based confrontation.
Today, we learn that Honkai: Star Rail will be entitled to a new beta. This beta, available on iOS and Android, but also on PC, will be the very last before the launch of version 1.0 according to the studio. It will start on February 10, 2023 and to participate, just go to the official site of the game and register before February 2.
