The numbers of young people with Alzheimer's increase

On the other hand, the numbers of young people with early-onset Alzheimer’s are increasing.

Although it is believed that Alzheimer’s is a condition marked by genetics, researchers assure that lifestyle also plays an important role in its development.

Early-onset dementia means that there is cognitive degeneration in the patient years before the disease itself occurs and its symptoms can be detected as early as the age of 30.

The study was published this Tuesday in the journal Jama Neurology.

Researchers say that some of the risk factors may be social isolation, hearing loss and low vitamin D.

A person’s socioeconomic status and ability to achieve a high level of education could also have an effect.
