More and more leaders are asking Cristina Fernández de Kirchner to take charge of the political project that can improve the lives of Argentines and stop the impetus of the ultra-right.
Moyano, speaking on El Destape Radio, indicated that “we would all like our partner Cristina to make one more effort, but it depends on her.”
“I cannot change the natural decision that Cristina made,” said the union leader about the announcement made by Cristina Kirchner that she will not be a candidate in 2023, and said that if the Vice President insists on not running “the natural candidates would be (Sergio) Massa, (Daniel) Scioli and even the President himself (Alberto Fernández)”.
“If she decides not to be a candidate, it will be an important factor for consultation. All of us in Peronism have to maintain unity so that the right never returns,” said the union leader.
Likewise, he said that Truckers support the request made by the Executive Power to promote the impeachment of the members of the Supreme Court, by maintaining that the highest court had “scandalous rulings” and that from the judicial files it appears that “there was nothing that compromised Cristina”.
In another order, Moyano referred to the controversy surrounding the actions of the Truckers’ union in the price control operation in wholesalers and distribution centers. In this regard, he pointed out that “there are more than 20 union organizations controlling so that four or five supermarkets do not take advantage of the merchandise and then increase prices.”
“We control that if ten trucks with merchandise leave, that merchandise reaches the gondola,” he explained, and complained that “many stupidities” were said on the subject. “They came to say that truckers were going to act in supermarkets like Putin’s forces in Ukraine, a lot of stupid things have been said,” she opined.
In relation to the Frente de Todos, he said that “a lot of work was done to reach unity, and we are going to defend it until the last day.” “A few days ago I said that space is a candidate, because nobody drives us.
Thus, we give more chances to the right to return to the Government and it would be the worst thing that can happen to us as a country, “he argued. “People are rotten if the President speaks with the vice president or with the Minister of the Interior. We want answers,” he said.
In this sense, he stated: “For a long time I have been asking the Minister of Economy to universalize family allowances per child to all registered workers and return the income tax for December. It is money that has to go into the worker’s pocket.”
