On day 4 of “The Perfect Dinner” the mood changes in Münster. Inga (49) is looking forward to the evening when she wants to bring her guests closer to the culinary diversity of pumpernickel. But they are extremely irritated…
Lisa (27) definitely expects home-made bread: “I would be super disappointed if it was part of every meal and then really wasn’t home-made.” Anyway, they are Expectations are high, because Inga has been very critical so far. Edip (40) says: “I also have the impression that she often looks for the hair in the soup.” Sina (30) already feels the changed vibes in the group: “I hope that the atmosphere will stay good today.” Lisa also suspects: “I think she’s very confident in her cooking skills.”

Inga’s cooking plan: “Do things that I don’t like myself”
A classic misjudgment. “I don’t think my chances of winning are that high,” Inga doesn’t expect a top rating. “I also do things that I don’t really like myself.” Vanilla, quark and butter only end up in the dishes for the sake of their guests. But what is well-intentioned backfires. Finally, the days before, Inga mentioned her aversion at every opportunity.
As a starter, Inga serves little church towers made from pumpernickel and beetroot, swede and cream of herbs, along with lamb’s lettuce with pumpkin seed oil. She would have liked to have baked the pumpernickel herself, “however, there is currently a large gap in the market for rye meal”. A no-go for Sina: “I think it could be organized. Maybe she just took the easy way.” Edip pokes at the salad: “It was completely tasteless.”

“The perfect dinner”: Lisa’s fish was “completely cold”
The main course: zander with a pumpernickel crust and mashed carrots and oranges. Sina and Lisa are surprised that the crust is made with butter. “I’m just a little confused,” Lisa whispers. “I don’t understand why she says she doesn’t like so many things but takes them all in here?” Sina has no understanding: “I don’t think it’s cool.” Jürgen (54) notices them bad vibes in the room: “I would describe the atmosphere as very sterile.” Nevertheless, everyone eats the zander fillet well, even if it’s not a real treat. “The fish was completely cold for me,” says Lisa. After all, sauce and crust can score.
As on day 1, there is dessert: men’s cream and pumpernickel-cherry quark dish. Inga doesn’t like eating vanilla pudding at all: “I thought about making it myself with vanilla bean. However, I don’t like it at all. That’s why I decided to make a ready-made one.” Another no-go for Sina. Edip’s opinion on the dessert duo: “Wanted, but not skillfully implemented.”
“I smile again, pull myself together,” Inga doesn’t understand the reason for the strange mood. Edip and Lisa only award four points, Jürgen and Sina at least manage to get five points. With a total of 18 points, Inga takes last place.
