The Misiones Police found the whereabouts of Juan Gabriel R. (21) in the last few hours, who was recaptured at a hotel in the town of Jardín América. At the scene they seized a 22-caliber revolver, eight ammunition and two electronic scales.

Around 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, members of the Crime Prevention Division and the local Radioelectric Command obtained information that Gabriel would be staying at a hotel located near the Jardín bus terminal.

With this information, the uniformed officers first carried out an operational lock on the site and then broke into the room in which the escapee was resting.

Noticing the presence of the policemen, Gabriel took a firearm as if to try to persuade the policemen but was quickly subdued. The troops fired intimidating shots at a time when the subject pointed a revolver at them.
