A Electronic Arts (EA) announced that ‘The Sims 4’ has set a new record for the history of the iconic series with a total of 70 million players.
It is worth remembering that ‘The Sims 4’ was released almost ten years ago – in September 2014 – and that the base version of the game is currently free, with players having to pay to have access to expansions and extra content.
“We know that ‘The Sims 4’ continues to be a creative outlet for people and our team is working to deliver new and innovative content that empowers our players to embrace the chaos that comes with self-discovery”can be read at announcement from EA.
It should be remembered that, at this moment, the producer Maxis is working on a new title known for the time being as ‘Project Rene’. It is believed that this is the highly anticipated ‘The Sims 5’, but to be sure we will have to wait for confirmation.
