The Supreme Court has granted leave to appeal for the so-called snippadom, where a man was acquitted of rape, the court decides.

The district court first convicted the man of child rape, but then the Court of Appeal acquitted him because it was not proven that the girl told about a penetration. A member of the Court of Appeal wanted to confirm the district court’s judgment.

After the verdict was appealed, the Supreme Court has now decided to take up the high-profile case that caused huge reactions in social media.
