Meanwhile, the Ukrainian president, Volodimir Zelenskystressed his intention to reinforce the security of the country with the help of its partners to stop Russia’s intentions to move to a new offensive stage in the war in the spring, as several Western intelligence agencies have been predicting for weeks.
“Ukraine and our partners will do everything necessary to ensure that Russia’s intentions to move to a new stage of the offensive with the aim of revenge fail,” the Ukrainian president said in his evening message to the country’s population.
