CDMX.- Whoever attributes infidelity or fights to the reason for the separation between Andrea Legarreta and Erik Rubín is because that is how they perceive their own story and do not understand that there are life cycles that end amicably and with all the love in the world, said the host of Hoy .

After the official announcement of the end of the husband and wife relationship they had for almost 23 years, speculation ignited social networks, and Legarreta categorically denied lawsuits or ill-treatment.

“People seem to want that, they are eager for it. No one who feels betrayed or hates their partner, or who ends up with that pain, expresses himself as I am doing, as he is doing.

“If there was something horrible, what is happening would not be happening, sadly people are used to seeing relationships that end horribly, everyone dreams of something forever, and suddenly it ends and that’s how it is… nothing more,” Andrea said yesterday in interview.

Also a 51-year-old actress, influencer and businesswoman, she assured that she downplays the rumors that Erik may have had an affair with “Apio” Quijano, with whom he is seen to be very close, as part of the show on the 90’s Pop Tour, or even with Melissa, from JNS.

“In the end, I respect the gay community a lot and the least thing Erik has is being gay. I love ‘Celery’ a lot… there are jokes, they are stories, they are things if people don’t understand it that way and that gives them peace.

“What I want is not to be in speculation, I am clear about what it is to be in love… Erik and Melissa are great friends. The things that happen on stage… by God! (they are acted). Then I’m going to get angry with those who came out in the orgy in the play (of Jesus Christ Super Star) when he came out of Judas and they groped him,” he emphasized yesterday at the Televisa San Ángel facilities.

About the reaction that his daughters Nina and Mía had, Andrea, he affirmed that they were very mature and understood it, and that they both even took therapy before the official announcement.

He declined to reveal whether the divorce will be formal or just a separation, even if there may be a reconciliation, since the decision was made five months ago.

“That love is true until today, together, the two of us have achieved very beautiful things. We have this question mark, and there are people who say, oh no, now, see you never! And sometimes in our conversations we don’t feel that way, we feel that It’s an exercise in seeing what happens.”

He lamented the idea that relationships are forever and endings have to be hard.

“It’s easy for us, we are best friends, we are family, partners, beings who love each other, even if people find it hard to understand. There is no one else, there is no desire, there are no lawsuits, there is no bad vibes, there is no ill-treatment, precisely I think that couples should understand that sometimes love does transform.”

Legarreta and Rubín confirmed that they were ending their relationship, and this meant for both of them that they would remain united in their companies and in the education and support of their daughters.

“It is difficult to make the decision, I would not want to go out into the world and say ‘this is happening with my private life’, but we are public people and they have accompanied us on many occasions.

“And suddenly they will see him wherever he is going to be, where he is going to live, we do not want anything to get dirty or for him to go to a route where he is not, we are trying to do things in the best way, with respect, without anything shady, dirty, without anything crooked, because this story doesn’t deserve it,” he emphasized.

And he affirmed that the life premise to which both are resorting to cope with acceptance, transition and grief, is to live day by day without rushing anything.
