There was carnival 2023 in Hörbranz..

After countless hours of rehearsals, after the indescribable nervousness before the first official show dance, after performances at balls, coffee parties, after a surprise appearance at a women’s party, after the noble robber baron’s ball, after the wild hell parties, after liters of sweat in the spotlight, after open hands clapping along, after many meaningful and maybe a few less meaningful conversations at the bar counters, after the fools’ morning pint in Doren, after the morning greeting at Antenne Vorarlberg, which felt more like a nighttime greeting, after the parades with enthusiastic little girls on the roadsides, after the fools’ fair in Hörbranz and after after the emotional visits to kindergartens, schools, old people’s homes and in the Lebenshilfe, after the astonished looks from big children’s eyes, after… the list could probably be continued indefinitely… but after all the many hours that the big and also sworn Hörbranzer Faschingsg ilde spent together, the carnival 2023 will end on Shrove Tuesday evening with the finale. As in previous years, the end of the carnival was duly celebrated together. For the last time in the 2023 season, the unique Leiblachtal shawms played their instruments, turning the Hörbranzer Krone into a literal madhouse and shaking the walls. The Hörbranz robber barons and many enthusiastic carnival fans said goodbye to this year’s carnival with the likeable and cordial 46th prince couple, Princess Simone and Prince Hubert, along with their fluffy and enthusiastic entourage. The Berger Harlekins, the Leiblacher Fetzahexa, the Howilarrutschbugglar, the Lochauer Berger Rockabillys and the Bäumler Paradise group really let it rip the last few hours of carnival. The heads of the guilds thanked their members and visitors for the indescribable carnival 2023. Thanks also go to Michael and his team from the Hörbranzer Krone, who have often made their restaurant available for carnival events and are now much more than an insider tip for boisterous parties. DJay Rome and DJ Ancor provided the perfect mood for the last carnival evening on the turntables. The unanimous tenor of the visitors: we are all carnival!!

When the last song was played shortly before midnight, a large circle was formed around the dancing 46th prince couple, one or the other, certainly caused by the fog machine, wet eyes could be seen. The carnival reign of Princess Simone, Prince Hubert and their entourage ended at midnight sharp.
