The Police reported this Monday that several units are searching for an armed man near a grocery store in the Quebradas de Yauco neighborhood.
This individual was traveling in a gray Kia Sportage vehicle, with license plate JIN-857, reported as stolen in San Juan.
According to authorities, an exchange of fire ensued while trying to stop and intervene with the suspect, who then abandoned the vehicle and fled into a wooded area in the region.
Police said that so far no injuries have been reported in connection with the incident.
Security forces continue to search the area for the fugitive.
